Liquor Mart Walkout Planned In Manitoba

Liquor Mart Walkout Planned

WINNIPEG - Manitoba liquor mart workers are planning a walkout next week.

The one day strike follows their union rejecting the latest offer from Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries.

The Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union says its job action will begin with the 24 hour walkout on Wednesday at all public liquor marts across the province.

1,400 MGEU members have been working without a contract for over a year.
