Life-Altering Injuries for 17-Year-Old Boy

WINNIPEG - 17-year-old boy remains in hospital with life-altering injuries after being attacked near Main Street and Bannerman Avenue.

On August 29 around 11:30PM a 17-year-old male was walking and confronted by two teenage males in a parking lot on Bannerman. The 17-year-old was subsequently assaulted and struck in the face with a projectile which resulted in serious, life-altering injuries. He was taken to hospital in unstable condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.

Winnipeg Police are asking for the public's help with the investigation, anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
