Improving Rural Internet

WINNIPEG - $260 million is being committed to improve internet service in rural Manitoba.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank has agreed to invest the money with DIF Capital Partners and Valley Fiber which will build, operate and maintain the new broadband service.

Almost 50,000 rural homes in the southern part of the province will get access to high-speed internet in the next few years.
