Impersonating Hospital Worker

WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is investigating after a man posed as a health care worker and worked several shifts at St. Boniface Hospital earlier this month.

The WRHA says he didn't complete a health care aide training program but went to the St. B staffing office and posed as a new hire where he worked as many as eight shifts.

The person retrieved supplies and took patients to rooms but didn't have access to medications.

He's been spoken to but no other action is expected.
