WINNIPEG - The City of Morden has declared a state of emergency because of overland flooding.
The Rural Municipality of Ritchot has issued 78 evacuation notices due to rising water.
17 homes in the RM of Montcalm have been evacuated because of floodwaters.
Meanwhile, Highway 75 has been closed at Morris due to rising water but a detour was put in place last year to allow traffic to go around the town.
Southern Manitoba is bracing for flooding similar to what was seen in 2009 which was the highest since 1997's flood of the century.
