Hit and Run in Thompson Kills Victim

THOMPSON – Thompson RCMP are looking for help solving a vehicle-pedestrian collision that left a man dead on March 22.

The accident occurred at 1:05 am on highway 391 near the city of Thompson. When police responded, they found a man who appeared to be in his forties, lying on the road. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, it is believed the victim was struck by a vehicle, however, the vehicle did not remain at the scene of the collision.

Thompson RCMP and Forensic Collision Reconstructionists continue to investigate.
