WINNIPEG - Although celebrations may be a little more subdued than in previous years because of COVID-19, Manitoba Day, which marks the birth of our province, is still an opportunity to count the reasons to be grateful for the place we call home - and the Manitobans who made and make it the great home it is today.
Manitoba Day marks the passing of the Manitoba Act 151 years ago, which paved the way to the province’s entry into the Canadian Confederation, the only province to join confederation under Indigenous leadership.
Manitobans can take pride in what we’ve done, and what we continue to do, to help each other overcome our challenges.
You can print and colour this Manitoba Flag to post in your window or display elsewhere.
As we reflect on Manitoba’s history today, we’re looking forward to celebrating our past, present, and future together in person once again some day.
