Flu Deaths Double

WINNIPEG - The number of Manitoba deaths from influenza has almost doubled.

The latest weekly flu report from the province says 22 people have died from the flu so far this season. The number was 12 the week before.

The report also says influenza A is the dominant strain circulating, with test positivity increasing to 27.2 per cent.
