First Nations' Variants Double

WINNIPEG - First Nations leaders are urging people to stop travelling within Manitoba after cases of COVID-19 variants of concern on reserves doubled in three days.

Dr. Marcia Anderson, a medical member of the First Nations pandemic response team, says that's a very quick doubling time.

She also points out Indigenous people have more severe outcomes if they contract the virus.
