WINNIPEG, MB - A 47-year-old man has died from injuries he received in a single-vehicle collision early this morning.
The accident occurred Sunday, February 11, around 1:45 AM, on Provincial Road 332, located on Main Street in the community of Rosenfeld, Manitoba.
Police believe the vehicle was travelling northbound with two occupants, a 47-year-old male and 47-year-old female, both from Rosenfeld, when they lost control of their vehicle, rolled, and collided with a tree.
The female occupant was able to get out of the vehicle and walk to a nearby home to call for help.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene while the female was taken to hospital in serious condition.
RCMP said the occupants were not wearing their seatbelts and alcohol and speed are being investigated as possible factors in the collision.
