Fake Cop Commits Carjacking

WINNIPEG - Selkirk RCMP have charged three people after a carjacking in the RM of St. Clements on the weekend.

The Mounties say a man impersonating a police officer in a vehicle with red and blue lights pulled over an SUV on Saturday.

The two females inside were then asked for their ID and the vehicle's registration.

When he was questioned by the pair, the guy revealed a gun and took off with their ride.

The suspect and two other people found with the bogus cop car were arrested later that day.
