Drug Trafficker Arrested with 2,000 Pills

THOMPSON - RCMP arrested a Winnipeg man in Thompson on February 1 and found almost 2,000 pills as well as cocaine, cannabis and illegal cigarettes.

Police stopped his vehicle on Churchill Drive and after searching his vehicle found 186 flaps of cocaine, more than 1,900 pills, including 387 oxycodone pills and 326 codeine pills, 41 grams of cannabis, a large amount of cannabis edibles, 32,000 illegal cigarettes and a large amount of cash.

50 year-old Paul Kettler has been charged with multiple possession and trafficking charges as well as Unstamped Tobacco charges.

RCMP continue to investigate.
