WINNIPEG - Access to safe drinking water is still a big problem at First Nations in northern Manitoba.
That from MKO Grand Chief Garrison Settee who says 26 Indigenous communities are at risk when it comes to safe drinking water.
According to Settee, 64 per cent of the communities use cisterns which can become contaminated and polluted and 10 per cent don't have running water.
Settee can't believe a situation like this persists in a country like Canada.
