WINNIPEG - A new record has been set for Winnipeg with only 8.5 millimetres of rain in the month of July.
To make matters even worse, it's been very hot, with 26 days this summer with a temperature of at least 30. That's approaching a record too.
The lack of precipitation and scorching heat has combined to make life miserable for farmers and even some communities that have been forced to conserve water.
No to mention the dozens of wildfires burning across Manitoba and the concern that new ones might start up.
