$750K from Pallister’s Government for Homelessness Winnipeg

WINNIPEG – Minister Heather Stefanson said Wednesday that the Pallister Government is committing $750,000 over three years to support the ongoing work of End Homelessness Winnipeg.

Stefanson siad, “End Homelessness Winnipeg has become one of the city’s most important leaders for co-ordinating homelessness funds and initiatives in Winnipeg”.

“This funding will allow them to continue to lead a community of organizations and people who make a difference in the daily lives of people who have experienced homelessness.”

The Manitoba government funds End Homelessness Winnipeg to co-ordinate efforts to address homelessness. The organization also receives support from the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the City of Winnipeg and the United Way of Winnipeg.
