$58M For Schools

WINNIPEG - The province has announced $58 million in new funding for schools.

The money will be used next school year in a variety of ways.

Education minister Cliff Cullen says $40 million will go to extra staffing and technology.

$6 million will be used for PPE and $5 million is earmarked for mental health and wellness.

There will also be money for remote learning for kids who can't return to class for medical reasons.
