$4.5 Million For Seniors

WINNIPEG - The province is spending almost $4.5 million to bolster its new strategy for seniors.

Seniors and long-term care minister Scott Johnston says the money will be spent on six programs to ensure seniors are leading active and social lives, allowing them to stay in their homes as they age.

Johnston says his government continues to invest significantly in key initiatives less than a month after launching its seniors' strategy.
