WINNIPEG - Care homes in Manitoba are getting $15 million from the province to help fight COVID-19.
Premier Heather Stefanson says the funding will be used to improve staffing, cleaning and technology.
She adds all 125 licensed homes in Manitoba will have a person on-site dedicated to infection control.
All this follows an external review of a deadly COVID outbreak at Maples Personal Care Home in Winnipeg in the fall of 2020.
