WINNIPEG - Manitoba RCMP took to Twitter to remind Manitoba drivers that construction zones speed limits are always enforced.
Mounties reminded drivers that even when workers aren't present, there may be hazards in a construction zone, changes in the roadway or shoulder, lack of barriers, and more.
RCMP caught one driver was doing 125 kmh in the 70 kmh construction zone on Highway 101 near highway 59. The driver was fined $1,490.00 and will now face a license review with Manitoba Public Insurance.
