WINNIPEG - The province is reporting two new deaths today from COVID-19, one of them in Winnipeg.
There are 70 new cases of the virus today, including 29 in Winnipeg.
1,395 cases are active, 53,631 people have recovered, for a total of 56,167 cases so far.
164 people are in hospital, including 46 in intensive care. Nine are in ICUs in other provinces.
The five day test positivity rate in the province is 6.2 per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 5.6. 1,616 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 830,897 since the pandemic began.
The death toll now sits at 1,141.
