WINNIPEG - Manitoba RCMP are warning two northern First Nations about a drug that's laced with fentanyl.
The Mounties say the pills look like oxycodone tablets but they have a green tinge to them which is why they are known as green beans.
Police think this new dangerous drug is responsible for several overdoses in Oxford House and Shamattawa in the past few days, including one fatality.
People are being asked to safely dispose of these pills as soon as possible.
Anyone with information about the source is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers at at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
