WINNIPEG - There's a dangerous new drug in Manitoba that's been showing up on the streets of Brandon.
Prairie Mountain Health Authority says it's a beige powder known as Benzo and according to Health Canada, it tests positive for Fentanyl and Bromazolam.
It causes respiratory depression and sedation and it can cause a person to lose consciousness.
And because Benzo is not an opioid, Naloxone which can reverse an overdose does not work on it.
