COVID Enforcement In Manitoba Continues

COVID Enforcement Continues

WINNIPEG - Manitoba says it continues to ticket and fine people who don't follow COVID-19 public health orders.

There have been complaints about a lack of enforcement, especially with repeat offenders.

But justice minister Cameron Friesen says if COVID rules are not being followed, his government will be there.

There were only 33 tickets handed out this week for various offences but Friesen points out that's more than last week.

A Manitoba Justice spokesperson says tips from the public are regularly followed up on.
