WINNIPEG - This week’s COVID-19 update shows a slight increase in hospitalizations in Manitoba but a big decline in deaths.
The province says there were 70 hospital admissions during the week ending last Saturday, including 16 patients in intensive care. That’s up from 67 the previous week with nine in the ICU.
However, health officials say there were two deaths, compared to 10 a week earlier.
The number of confirmed cases also dropped but wastewater data for Winnipeg shows an increase in COVID.
