WINNIPEG - There has finally been some movement in the strike by government liquor workers in Manitoba.
An independent conciliator has recommended binding arbitration and Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries has agreed to it. The union, however, has said not so fast.
The Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union says it has some conditions that need to be discussed first.
The union will hold a rally at the legislature today to mark one week since the walkout began.
