Drugs Discovered in Thompson Home

WINNIPEG, MB. - Thompson RCMP executed a warrant at a home in Thompson on January 13th and seize cocaine and marihuana.

Police searched the home around 10:00 pm and found, approximately 113 grams of cocaine and 170 grams of marihuana, along with other drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of cash was seized.

RCMP said they charged a 26-year-old male with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking. He has been released pending an upcoming court appearance.

Manitoba RCMP is asking anyone with information about drugs or those producing and trafficking them to call police or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
