WINNIPEG - Four care home residents have died from COVID-19 in the province in the past week.
Jan Legeros, executive director of the Long Tern and Continuing Care Association of Manitoba, says the deaths are tragic and show the pandemic is not over yet.
She points out the most vulnerable seniors live in homes, 20 of which are currently dealing with outbreaks.
In one Winnipeg home, residents have had to stay in their rooms, even eating their meals there, for almost two weeks.
