WINNIPEG - Manitoba's Conservative government is expected loosen the purse strings in tomorrow's budget after years of tight spending.
Christopher Adams, a political scientist at the University of Manitoba, says the Tories are trailing in the polls and a bit of spending might help them in the next election in less than two years.
Look for more money for health care in the budget as well as some sort of protection against rising inflation.
Premier Heather Stefanson was already out last week promising more money for personal care homes.
