WINNIPEG - Manitoba MLAs will be voting on a bill soon to end the province's ban on cosmetic pesticides.
It would allow pesticides on private lawns, grass near roads and some fields and parks.
The ban has had many critics since it was introduced in 2014 by the NDP because natural sprays were far less effective.
The opposition New Democrats say the bill would result in more chemicals going into the ground and waterways.
I say pesticide! Ever see your kids bit by a tick? Lyme disease? It's a nasty disease. Ticks are in the city. I for one don't want Lyme disease. Spray the buggers!
