Bees Swarm Headingly Tree

Bees Swarm Tree

WINNIPEG - A colony of bees tried to make a home in Headingly last Friday.

They swarmed a maple tree in Sally Guarino's front yard.

She called the Red River Apiarists' Association about the big blob of bees on her tree.

They called in some member beekeepers who used a hive box to gather up the thousands of bees.

The bees have since been moved to a better location.
