AstraZeneca Vaccine Arrives

WINNIPEG - About 18,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine have arrived in Manitoba and they're being shipped to doctors' offices and pharmacies across the province starting today.

These shots will be put in the arms of people between 50 and 64 years old who are at risk of a severe outcome if they contract COVID-19.

Indigenous Manitobans from 30 to 64 are also eligible for the new vaccine because it can't be administered to seniors.

If you are in one of theses groups, the province has an online map showing where shots are being administered.
