WINNIPEG - Manitoba finance minister Cameron Friesen will introduce this year's provincial budget on April 12th.
He says it will be about strengthening health care and improving affordability.
During budget consultations, Manitobans said health care is a main priority, as well as better support for mental health and addictions.
COVID-19 has stretched the health care system to its breaking point. According to Doctors Manitoba, the province's surgical backlog has grown to almost 55,000 during the pandemic.
