WINNIPEG - RCMP were on hand for another rally in Steinbach on Saturday. Dozens of people not happy with COVID-19 rules gathered at city hall.
Organizers claim it wasn't a protest but instead an educational rally to inspire people to find solutions that aren't part of the mainstream narrative.
The Hugs Over Masks event was organized by the same group that paid a visit to that community a couple months ago when code red restrictions first went into effect. That gathering resulted in several tickets.
Premier Brian Pallister has said he understands people are frustrated and they have the right to protest but othre poeple have the right to breathe and public health otrders need to be followed.
