WINNIPEG - Canada now has a third immunization option against COVID-19. The AstraZeneca vaccine has been approved for use.
Dr. Theresa Tam, the country's chief public health officer, says this is good news but variants of the virus could spread quickly.
Here in Manitoba, Dr. Joss Reimer says the latest vaccine could change the way people get immunized because it's easier to ship and store.
It's still unclear how many doses we might get here but there are already 250 clinics and pharmacies ready to inoculate Manitobans.
