3rd Case Of Rare Swine Flu

WINNIPEG - The province is investigating to make sure a rare swine flu variant isn't spreading.

A third case of H3N2 has been detected in a person in southern Manitoba.

The CDC in the US says this variant was first detected in an individual in 2011 and it seems to spread from pigs to human more easily than other swine influenzas.

Experts say it's possible these cases were detected because of more screening for COVID-19.
