WINNIPEG - The province is reporting three new deaths today from COVID-19, one of them in Winnipeg and all are from the B117 variant.
There are 560 new cases of the virus today, including 431 in Winnipeg.
Cases of variants of concern total 5,210 in Manitoba, with 1,974 of them active. 29 people have been killed by the variants.
4,046 cases are active, 38,652 people have recovered, for a total of 43,700 cases so far.
240 people are in hospital, including 62 in intensive care.
The five day test positivity rate in the province is 12 per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 14.4. 4,767 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 710,248 since the pandemic began.
The death toll now sits at 1,002.
