3 Deaths, 488 Cases


WINNIPEG - The province is reporting three new deaths today from COVID-19, including a 20 year old woman in Winnipeg.

There are 488 new cases of the virus today, including 389 in Winnipeg.

Cases of variants of concern total 3,665 in Manitoba, with 1,345 of them active. 18 people have been killed by the variants.

3,237 cases are active, 37,198 people have recovered, for a total of 41,425 cases so far.

200 people are in hospital, including 54 in intensive care.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 10.6 per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 12.6. 4,462 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 690,365 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 990.
