2 Deaths, 250 Cases

WINNIPEG - The province is reporting two new deaths today from COVID-19, both in Winnipeg and one of them is a male in his teens.

There are 250 new cases of the virus today, including 136 in Winnipeg.

3,786 cases are active, 48,536 people have recovered, for a total of 53,403 cases so far.

293 people are in hospital, including 67 in intensive care. 30 are in ICUs in other provinces.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 11.5 per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 12.3. 2,713 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 792,471 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 1,081.
