WINNIPEG - The province is reporting one new death today from COVID-19.
There are 211 new cases of the virus today, including 138 in Winnipeg.
Cases of variants of concern now total 774 in Manitoba, with 238 of them active. Two people have been killed by the variants.
1,783 cases are active, 33,727 people have recovered, for a total of 36,470 cases so far.
132 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 33 of them in the ICU.
The five day test positivity rate in the province is six per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 6.3. 2,194 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 627,113 since the pandemic began.
The death toll now sits at 960.
