Two Criminals Pick the Wrong Place to Rob

Manitoba Post StaffNews

Strange but True Crime News – This story is the text book meaning of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Police in Woodlawn, Md. say Joseph McInnis III and Tyree McCoy attempted to stage an armed robbery at a pub in September 0f 2017.

The two would be bandits didn’t case the place very well. The bar they decided to rob was hosting a retirement party for a police officer and it was filled to the brim with off-duty cops.

Baltimore County police officer Jennifer Peach told WBAL-TV, “I’m sure that they weren’t planning on there being a large room filled with police officers”.

Once the two men realized their error, they took off on foot, but didn’t make it far before they were apprehended by police.

Luckily there was nobody injured in the botched robbery. Guess we’ll never know which one of the two decided to rob that particular bar on that particular night.
