WINNIPEG - After finding out only two of her students had ever seen snow, a Florida teachers arranged to have a snowman mailed to her classroom.
Robin Hughes, a special education teacher at Southshore Charter Academy in Tampa, contacted her sister who lives in Kentucky and asked her to send her a snowman so her kids could see snow.
After a snowstorm earlier this month, the snowman was made and carefully wrapped before it was shipped off to Florida.
Hughes says she was so happy to see the looks of pure joy on her students' faces.
