WINNIPEG - Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative in Arizona got a call earlier this month about a bear stuck at the top of one of its poles.
When a company lineman arrived, he rushed to disable the power, so the animal wouldn't get electrocuted.
He also went up in a bucket lift to try and help the animal down.
The uninjured bear was eventually able to climb down and run off into the desert.
The utility figures the bear mistook the pole for a tree.
