WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Moose season came to an end Friday night in Rockford, losing the Central Division Final in four straight games.

The IceDogs bit first scoring 5:37 into the game on a power play rocket from Cody Franson. The Moose evened it up with 6:51 remaining in the period when Julian Melchiori scored his second goal in as many games. Just 31 seconds after, Chris DiDomenico put Rockford back in front, scoring on a two man rush. A major penalty was assessed to Patrice Cormier. However, the extra attacker didn't favour the IceHogs as JC Lipon stole the puck, raced in on a breakaway and beat goalie Collin Delia which again tied the game to finish the first.
The Moose nearly killed off the major, but Carl Dahlstrom's point shot added a goal with eight seconds left in the penalty. Rockford was awarded a penalty shot. The IceDogs shooter, Ejdsell, scored with a pretty backhand move to give Rockford a 4-2 edge. With just under three minutes left in the second, the Moose shorthanded again. Franson added his second power play goal of the game for a 5-2 Rockford lead.
The Moose Manitoba didn't go quietly as Jake Kulevich pounded home a rebound for his first professional goal with 10 seconds remaining. Rockford IceDogs win the Central Division Final eliminating the Moose in game four by a score of 6-3.
